Weekend Fun!

Calm before the storm - had the weekend off! Yay!
Babysat on Friday night. Lots of hugs and a fun time with the kids. Didn't quite make it home - so did the supposed walk of shame home the next morning - it feels like that - even if I know the night before was perfectly innocent.
A great day, uploaded 3 folders of pictures - relived the aussie v8's through photos - the Moving adventures and the parade. Rather enjoyed myself.
Gonna say this here - can't pin anyone down long enought to tell them all this.... Was going on a drive in the afternoon sometime. John picked me up and only clue I had to where we were going was him saying 'no heels' as we were heading for the door. mmmm What on earth was I letting myself in for. I have a very active imagination and no clues were coming my way - and I admit I did try and get some.
Headed towards Henderson - but ended up on the motorway. Figured beach - but no - turned off and headed towards riverhead. I didn't think he would be taking me to the farm... would he. Surely he would have given me a heads up before I met his parents??? Quick tally in head of what I was wearing and if my make up was done - admit I was in OK state and just enjoyed the ride.
I love gravel roads with someone who knows them and knows how to handle a car on them - especially at high speed and skidding into the corners - total control - got to love it!
Sure enough - ended up at farm - met parents and off for a trip around on the quad bike. Had a ball! Found the waterfall on the property - through the creek - through the pine forests - got stuck in mud - up around and through and all over. Great Fun!! Just as well I didn't have the heels - had to hop off at several points, had to ask if this was to try and get me fit - but apparently for my own protection. AWWW.
Had a tour through the shed (I love looking at potential props) and orchard. Really liked his Dad - unfortunately also called John.
Dad already calls John his namesake - I find that creepy - keeps on commenting that this one is lasting awhile - I'm not that bad! Ok I have dated a few people this year, and had plenty of other offers to go out. Also admit that I have had a couple on the go at once for a bit (that was just very confusing, you could never remember who you did things with or what you have said), but have been turning them down since I met John. Willing to see where this is going.
Went through town on the way back. Saw the tree of lights in Victoria Park - unfortunately it was still light, so not as impressive as it could have been. Apparently a friend of Coralees did the set up and design of it. Franklin road was the same. Impressed by the coffee sellers getting set up for the evening rush. Got to admire that sort of idea - is just clever.
Stopped off for dinner and had a great rest of evening.
Sunday was a gentle can go to church because I want to - rather than have to. As it happens, I still stayed for both to do a notice for the next day at Powley. Lunch with parents and a relaxing evening. Santa Clause - now in defiantly Christmas mood! Not that I havn't been since I started it at beginning of Nov - but that is a long time to keep up the enthusiasm.
Looking forward to the next few days.
